Splash & Play: Baby Water Familiarisation in Sunbury

Introduce your baby to the joy of water at Berrydale Swim School in Sunbury. Splash & Play offers relaxed sessions for babies aged 3–8 months, with a parent or carer in the water.

Enjoy gentle movement, songs and play in a small group, with guidance from an experienced instructor. There are no skills to master or milestones to meet—every baby explores at their own pace.

What will my baby experience?

Splash & Play is an introduction to water, with the emphasis on enjoyment and connection. At this age, we focus on helping babies feel comfortable while supported by someone they trust.

Do I need to be confident in the water?

Our instructor guides you through holding and gently moving your baby, introducing activities and responding to their cues. You and your baby can build confidence together, without pressure.

Does water familiarisation make my baby safer?

No swimming program makes a baby drown-proof. Babies and young children always need active adult supervision around water. Keep your baby within arm’s reach and give them your full attention.
